What she means: i really think a lot about how foggy is the only actually innocent major character in daredevil. matt's a vigilante, karen has a 'dark past' we don't know much about and has killed somebody, claire helps matt torture a person and fisk goes without question anyways. but foggy, he doesn't do anything bad. he makes stupid jokes and treats his best friend like anybody else and the dinosaurs on his and matt's desk were probably his idea and he tells 'the butcher story' over and over again and he genuinely believes in the law and randomly learns punjabi and so on. he's a normal good guy who helps and wants to help and worries about others without noticing that he's bleeding from a wound that put him in a hospital. and there he is, pulled into the events by being at the time the most searched after 'criminal's' best friend. he finds out that matt is the guy who supposedly killed people and he feels betrayed, severely betrayed because foggy is just a simple guy who believed in the good of the world and now his best friend turns out not to be that
