#this is pretty queer #i wish they had been more explicit #But for network TV? This is pretty damn explicit. #Peggy loved him. She was his love interest. She kissed him. He carried her picture in his compass. #And Howard loved him too. #Howard basically says that Steve meant the same to him as he did to Peggy #that’s a hell of a thing for Howard to say especially considering how much time we see them spend together in the film #not much #Bucky could get away with saying that and passing it off as platonic because they’re supposed to have this big history of friendship #But Howard? #Nope.
